my wife, 10 year old, and myself loved MiniLand. my 2 year old loved the big blocks and slide area. The zombie ride was my 3 year old's favorite. That aside my kids did enjoy the stations and we had a good time. Just one employee at the begining taking 10 minutes to explain where to go and whats going on would solve this problem instead of taking your money and basically saying "go figure it out". Had no clue were to go or what to do for the first 30 minutes or so. As first time visitors we were off put by the lack of direction. That aside we were still excited to explore legoland. we were told that marketing hasn't changed it yet and that we were basically out of luck. Once we got to legoland we found out that the premium pass perks do not in fact line up with what was on the website. we bought the annual premium pass because of the benefits it had listed. I brought my wife and 3 kids to legoland discovery center for the first time this past weekend. I guess I’m glad we weren’t in there the same time as them. The only good thing? The people we had been waiting in line behind had children screaming and running behind the employee counter touching Lego stuff. If kids aren’t “safe” because well-behaved paying adults (ages 40-50) spent $97 to visit a toy land from their childhoods while being surveilled on closed circuit TV, then there’s something seriously wrong with that. ![]() There will NEVER be another DIME spent by my family on ANYTHING related to this franchise. Let me tell you something: this is ridiculous. “The other person told me I could keep that!” “Sorry, no, you can’t.” Manager who finished processing the return (another 4 minutes) takes the bag off the counter while I sign the refund. 1st employee says, “Sorry, you can keep the extra gift” (that was included in the package I paid for). “It’s on our website.” In what fine print?! Your app also let me buy 3 adult tickets without buying any kid tickets. ![]() I’m not trying to sneak into a school gymnasium: I’m a paying patron of a public site. Got into the entryway and they suddenly said, “If you don’t have kids with you, you can’t come in.” WTH?! I thought this was America. Stood in line at the entrance because only one employee was working at 1pm. Drove 75 minutes from Dayton, purchased 3 adult tickets online. We will go back to visit in the future but we will make sure to have eaten before hand. The pizzas were cold in the center but the cheese was burnt! And they were those little round single serve pizzas you get at the grocery store for $1 each. The chicken tenders were less than luke warm on the inside but the breading was burnt. We ordered chicken tenders, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and a soft pretzel. they cant keep up with the long line of customers. they use a turbo oven, like you see in subway. How can you screw up a soft pretzel? Let me tell you how. Over priced, under and over cooked at the same time!!! It all tasted disgusting. The lego embossing is pretty cool for the kids, except the one in duplo land was broke. The price of admission is right where it should be and the lego sets in the store are just a few cents higher than what you would see in WalMart. The place is great! We spent 6 hours there.
